A Sedalia man has been formally charged with a felony for allegedly threatening two people’s lives earlier this year in Pettis County.
A probable-cause statement says Sedalia Police officers received a report from a female victim about an alleged harassment incident which occurred on February 18.
The victim stated she arrived at the home of 26-year-old Tyler Nelson Rusk to pick up their shared child. She added a verbal argument occurred where Rusk allegedly threatened to fight her and another subject at a different location. The victim said she left the residence and spoke with Rusk during a phone call, which he allegedly stated he was going to kill her and the other subject. The victim reportedly recorded the conversation.
Online court documents say Rusk has been charged with a Class E Felony for First-Degree Harassment. Bond has not yet been set.
Rusk’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
