Road crews will begin shoulder work in Carroll County on Wednesday, March 20.
According to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, contractors from Lehman Construction LLC, will team up with MoDOT to begin prepping the Wakenda Creek and Missouri River Overflow bridge shoulders on U.S. Highway 65 for the future traffic shift of moving motorists onto the shoulders during bridge rehabilitation work which is expected to begin mid-May and continue through October.
The shoulder work will include daily lane closures, and the project is expected to continue through early April.
All work is weather permitting.
