Three area residents were injured in a rollover traffic accident in Johnson County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as the driver of an eastbound vehicle, 24-year-old Daniel Meham, of Hughsville, reportedly overcorrected as the vehicle was traveling off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned twice before coming to a rest on its side.
Meham and passenger, 28-year-old Alec Kinney, of Knob Noster, sustained minor injuries and another passenger, 26-year-old Ryan Ream, of Warrensburg, sustained moderate injuries. All were transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.
The accident happened just before noon on U.S. Highway 50 near Northwest 1801 Road.
