The Carrollton Town Council discussed a grant available for airport improvements and a resignation during its meeting on Monday, March 18.
Administrative Assistant Terri Bell said the town was selected as a candidate for funding available for improvements needed at the airport.

Bell said the council approved the motion to apply for the grant.
In other business, Bell said due to a person’s resignation with the Carrollton Area Economic Alliance, a person of contact regarding an ongoing project is needed.

Bell said no action was taken on the matter, and Metz last day with the organization is at the end of this month.
