A Marshall teenager charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a Sedalia woman a little over a year ago was found guilty by a Pettis County jury on January 24, 2019.
According to a news release, on January 12, 2018, deputies arrested Noah A. Kelliker in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Cassandra L. White at the Western View Estates Trailer Park on Oak Grove Lane in Sedalia three days earlier.
Online court documents say Kelliker was found guilty of a Class A Felony for Murder in the Second Degree; a Class B Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
On Tuesday, March 26, at Pettis County Circuit Court, 19-year-old Kelliker was sentenced life in prison on the murder charge; two to 15 years on the Unlawful Use of a Weapon charge; and three to 15 years for Armed Criminal Action- with all of the sentences to run concurrent. Kelliker could eventually be eligible for parole.
