At the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, March 26, Clerk Debbie Russell said a public test of the voting equipment is scheduled to be held this week in her office.

Russell said there also is a training session scheduled for workers who will be at the polls.

Absentee voting for the Municipal Election is ongoing during regular business hours through 5 p.m. Monday, April 1, at your county clerk’s office. In Saline County, special hours will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 30. Check with your county clerk’s office for its particular special hours.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2.
