With the water level still rising in some areas along the Missouri River, some roadways remain closed, and another full closure has been added to the list, due to high water.
In addition to the closures, a spokesperson at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that water has spilled onto U.S. Highway 65, just north of the Missouri River Bridge at Waverly. She said the southbound lane currently is blocked, and MoDOT workers are on the scene directing traffic.
KMMO News will update this part of the story as more information becomes available.
According to the MoDOT Traveler Information map, in Carroll County, Highway 10- between Carrollton and Norborne- remains closed.
In Lafayette County, Missouri Highway 224 is still closed at several locations between Lexington and Wellington.
Also, in Cooper County, Highway 87- just north of I-70- has been closed since sometime on Monday, March 25.
