Lester Louis “Buddy” Peters, age 80, of Boonville and formerly of Salisbury, died Saturday, March 30, 2019.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville, where visitation begins at 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the Lester Peters Scholarship Fund.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Peters, and his brother, Charles Peters. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Judy; son, Nathan; daughter, Leslie Reardon (Pat); grandchildren, Addyson and Avery Reardon; sisters, Joan (Bob) Shelby and Mary Pannier; and many nieces and nephews.
