Herbert “Junior” Wood Jr., age 78, of Climax Springs and formerly of Kansas City, KS, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.

In addition to his wife, Willa, he is survived by three children, Wendy Dittmer (Gerald “Tator”), Liesha Gleason and Darren Wood (Kathy) all of Concordia; one stepdaughter, Vickie Lee Knight (Ted) of Kansas City, KS; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Wood (Nancy) of Richmond, MO; one sister, Sharon Wood of Higginsville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Herbert Wood Sr. and Erna Lee Mulkey Wood; he was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Lainey McGee; and two stepdaughters, Susan Kneller and Terri Vitatoe.
