A Sedalia resident suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Johnson County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 24-year-old Garrett Young’s eastbound vehicle reportedly failed to negotiate a curve; and it traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck two trees and a fence post, overturned, struck an embankment and came to rest on its side.
Young, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Johnson County E.M.S. to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.
The crash happened at 1:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 50, east of 250th Road.
