Updating a city ordinance regarding unauthorized tampering with city utilities was discussed by the Higginsville Board of Aldermen at its meeting Monday, April 15.

The board also approved the write-off of some personal-property taxes, according to Dobson.

In other news, the board accepted the results of the Municipal Election- including the reelection of aldermen Scott Rhoad in Ward 1, Beau Linebach in Ward 2 and Stanton Thompson in Ward 3; and recognized Randy Amor for 25 years of service working for the city.
