UPDATE AS OF 3:30 P.M. THURSDAY, APRIL 18: The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office received several tips in reference to the suspicious person. The male subject has been identified and contacted.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department is advising residents to be on the lookout for a suspicious person.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on Route N near Braymer.
The reporting party said a male subject was standing outside of her garage claiming he was lost and needed directions to Liberty.
The subject is described as being a white male who is approximately 5 foot 4 with dark hair, and was seen wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans. Also, the subject has a tattoo on his left forearm, and is driving a red-in-color 4-door, Volkswagen Golf or Nissan. The rear drivers side window is missing and is covered with black plastic; and the rear drivers side tire is a spare.
