A Concordia resident sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash in Lafayette County Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 62-year-old Walter Snyder, of Concordia, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, and his southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and impacted an embankment.
While Snyder reportedly was not injured, a passenger in the vehicle- 60-year-old Stephanie Snyder- was transported by Concordia E.M.S. to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened at 2:35 p.m. on Missouri Highway 23 at Chiefs Avenue.
