Bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled to continue and a separate roadwork project is to begin this week in Chariton County.
According to MoDOT, work on the Chariton River and Long Creek Bridges on U.S. Highway 24 is scheduled to continue with the projects scheduled to last through late May. Also, the bridges will be narrowed to one lane with a 15-foot width restriction until the end of the project.
On Monday, April 29, pavement repair is scheduled on Route W, between Highways 129 and 3, with work scheduled to last through Friday, May 3.
On Tuesday, April 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Route YY just west of Pershing Road, is scheduled to be closed for culvert replacement.
Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route during the work times.
