A Warrensburg man was injured in a traffic accident near a conservation area in Howard County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the driver of a southbound vehicle, 24-year-old Adair Jackson, reportedly was entering a parking lot and the vehicle struck a large boulder. Jackson reportedly was not wearing a seat belt.
Jackson was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries.
The accident happened just before 3 a.m. on County Road 453 at Davis Dale Conservation Area.
