A Sedalia man was killed in a rollover traffic accident in Pettis County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as 29-year-old Casey Allred reportedly lost control of his eastbound vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, overturned and ejected Allred who then struck a tree.
Allred was pronounced deceased at 1:46 p.m. at the scene by Pettis County Deputy Coroner Todd Asbury.
The accident happened just after 1:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50, just west of Sedalia city limits.
