A couple of Richmond residents each have been formally charged with a felony for allegedly stealing a dirt bike earlier this year in Carroll County.
A probable-cause statement says Carroll County deputies took a report from a victim who stated his Honda dirt bike was missing from his residence in Norborne on February 12. The victim stated the dirt bike was valued at $9,000.
During the investigation on February 21, Ray County deputies arrested 26-year-old Kyle Seabaugh and 22-year-old Lacey Silkwood regarding a separate alleged stealing incident. On March 6, a witness reportedly told authorities about overhearing a conversation at his home between Seabaugh and Silkwood about traveling to Norborne to steal a bike on February 9. Also, the witness stated a discussion was held in regards to where the stolen bike could be stored at.
Online court documents say Seabaugh and Silkwood each have been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing. Bond for each has not been set yet.
An initial hearing for each defendant is pending at Carroll County Circuit Court.
