Heavy rain has caused a lot of flooding, and the list of roadways in the KMMO listening area closed due to high water has grown.
According to the MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map, in Saline County, Highway 127- just north of Sweet Springs, from Route ZZ to 150th Road at Salt Pond Creek- is closed.
In Carroll County, Route E- between Routes PP and D at Turkey Creek- is closed.
In Chariton County, Routes J and MM, near Dalton; Route D- between Routes O and M at Mussel Fork Creek; and Route E- between Route C and Highway 11 at West Yellow Creek- are closed.
In Howard County, Route H- just northeast of Fayette; and Route Z- just west of New Franklin- are closed.
In Lafayette County, Route D at Route FF at Sni-A-Bar Creek is closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster, Highway 13- between Routes V and E, and Route E- near Valley City- at Blackwater River; and Highway 2- between Routes ZZ and T at Big Creek- are closed.
In each case, motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
