Two Missouri residents suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Pettis County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 40-year-old Twila Christopher, of Windsor, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Both of the vehicle’s occupants, who reportedly were not wearing seat belts, were ejected out of the vehicle.
The driver and a passenger- 19-year-old Sierra Christopher, of Excelsior Springs- reportedly were transported by Pettis County ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
The crash happened at 3 p.m. on Route Y, just east of Morton Road.
