The west-central Missouri area has been drenched by rain over the last several days, and the list of roadways in the KMMO listening area closed due to high water has grown.
According to the MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map, in Saline County, Highway 127- just north of Sweet Springs, from Route ZZ to 150th Road at Salt Pond Creek; the Outer Road south of I-70 at Sweet Springs; and Route V, just north of I-70 near Emma- are closed.
In Carroll County, Route E is no longer listed as being closed; however, Highway 10, between Carrollton and Norborne, is closed.
In Chariton County, Routes J and MM, near Dalton; Route D- between Routes O and M at Mussel Fork Creek; Route E- between Route C and Highway 11 at West Yellow Creek; Route O, just east of Highway 129 and north of Salisbury; and Route NN, just south of Highway 129- are closed.
In Howard County, Route H- just northeast of Fayette; and Route Z- just west of New Franklin- are closed.
In Lafayette County, Highway 224, between Lexington and Giblin Road; and Route D at Route FF at Sni-A-Bar Creek- are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 13 is no longer listed as being closed; however, Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster; Route E- near Valley City; Route V, just east of Highway 13; and Highway 2- between Routes ZZ and T at Big Creek- are closed.
In each case, motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
