Two Missouri residents sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash involving three vehicles on a wet roadway in Lafayette County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash involved eastbound vehicles driven by 26-year-old Jalisah Jackson, of Marshall; 53-year-old Leroy Sampson, of Kansas City; and 39-year-old Joyce Hart, of Versailles. The report says Jackson’s vehicle began skidding and impacted the rear of Sampson’s vehicle. Jackson’s vehicle remained on the roadway and was struck by Hart’s vehicle.
While Jackson reportedly was not injured, Sampson and Hart were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just after 12:10 a.m. at the 37 mile marker on I-70.
