There are a few roadways in the KMMO listening area closed due to flooding.
According to the MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map, in Saline County, the Outer Road south of I-70 at Sweet Springs is now open; but Route UU- about two miles or so east of U.S Highway 65- is closed.
In Chariton County, Route J, near Dalton is closed.
In Howard County, Route H, just northeast of Fayette, is closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster was reopened on Tuesday, but MoDOT has closed it again.
In each case, motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
