Several areas city governments are scheduled to meet on Monday, May 20.
The Marshall City Council is scheduled to consider an ordinance regarding the creation of a Tax Increment Financing Commission during its meeting at 6 p.m.
The agenda says the council also is scheduled to discuss a mill and overlay project, professional cleaning services for the City Office Building and a resolution declaring blighted structures in certain areas within city limits.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers at the city office building at 214 North Lafayette Avenue.

The Higginsville Board of Aldermen is scheduled to recognize City Administrator Jeanette Dobson for her four decades of service during its meeting.
The agenda says aldermen also are scheduled to approve two contracts for the 2019 Street Improvement Program.
There also is a closed, executive session on the agenda for the board to discuss legal, real-estate and personnel matters.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at city hall at 1922 Main Street.

The Carrollton Town Council is scheduled to discuss concerns from the Carroll County Livestock Leaders during its meeting at 6 p.m.
According to the agenda, the council also is scheduled to consider revising the personnel manual to update a health benefits policy.
A closed, executive session is scheduled to discuss legal, real-estate, sealed proposals and related documents and personnel matters.
The meeting will be held at city hall at 206 West Washington Avenue.

The Sedalia City Council is scheduled to hold a plaque presentation for the Firefighter of the Year award during its meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The agenda says the council also is scheduled to consider an ordinance regarding classifications and job descriptions for various city employee position, as well as controlled substance and alcohol testing policies for those positions. Also, the mayor’s recommendations to appoint council members to various positions is scheduled to be discussed.
The meeting is scheduled at the municipal building at 200 South Osage Avenue.

The Concordia Board of Aldermen is scheduled to consider an ordinance regarding new offenses of “making false affidavits” and “false representation in application to the city” during its meeting at 7 p.m.
According to the agenda, aldermen also are scheduled to consider a request by certain residents to operate ATVs after sundown and on highways.
The meeting is scheduled in room 202 at the Concordia Community Building at 802 South Gordon Street.

The Boonville City Council is scheduled to consider requests for street closures for two events scheduled in June during its meeting.
The agenda says the council also is scheduled to discuss a temporary sales tax for capitol improvements at Kemper School Campus and a bill regarding the amending of residency requirements for the city administrator position.
