A roll-over traffic crash in Johnson County sent two Warrensburg residents to the hospital in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred as 21-year-old Jake Wurschmidt was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. The report indicates Wurschmidt lost control of his 2015 Toyota over the hill-crest, and overturning numerous times on the roadway. Wurschmidt and his 20-year-old passenger, Adam Shike both received minor injuries and were transported from the Warrensburg Police Department, to Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance.
The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. Saturday morning on South East 601 Road, just North of Route Y.
