A Brookfield man suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash involving wildlife in Linn County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound Harley Davidson, driven by 40-year-old Steven Gillespie, reportedly struck a deer in the roadway, overturned and ejected the driver.
Gillespie reportedly was transported to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment.
The crash happened at 2:45 a.m. on Missouri Highway 5, one mile north of Laclede.
