While floodwater has receded in some areas, numerous roadways in the KMMO listening area remain closed due to flooding.
According to the MoDOT Traveler Information Map, there are closures in Saline, Carroll, Chariton, Cooper, Lafayette and Johnson Counties.
In Saline County, Missouri Highway 240, from Route P- east of Gilliam- to Glasgow; Route UU, about two miles east of U.S. Highway 65; Route VV, north of I-70 near Emma; and the Outer Road, south of I-70 at Sweet Springs, are closed.
In Carroll County, Missouri Highway 10, between Carrollton and Norborne is closed.
In Chariton County, U.S. Highway 24, from just west of De Witt to just west of Brunswick; and again just east of the Chariton River to Missouri Highway 5; Missouri Highway 5, from Lewis Mill to near Forest Green, at Doxies Creek; Missouri Highway 129- between Routes O and W; Route J, north of New Frankfort; Route D at Mussel Fork Creek; and Route E, between Route F and Missouri Highway 129; as well as Route KK, south off of Highway 24 and southeast of Keytesville, are closed.
In Cooper County, Route OO, just south of I-70 and west of mile marker 98; Route HH, northwest of Pilot Grove; and Route DD- north of Blackwater- at Flat Creek are closed.
In Lafayette County, U.S. Highway 65 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 24 at Waverly- and that closure stretches into Carroll County; and Missouri Highway 224, at two locations just west of Lexington at the Missouri River are closed.
In Johnson County, Missouri Highway 23 at two locations between Concordia and Knob Noster at the Blackwater River is closed.
