Dixie Laytham Kennedy, age 90, of Marshall, died Friday, May 31, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Salt Fork Cemetery near Nelson.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

In addition to her husband, Tom, and his family, Dixie is survived by four stepchildren: David, Michael, Nancy and Teresa Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Brown and Dixie Laytham Schaumann; and stepfather, George Schaumann.
