A Marshall man has been charged with a felony for allegedly stealing a trailer from a location in Miami.
According to a probable cause statement, on May 24, a man reported to authorities that he owns a 2006 Branson 16-foot tandem-axle trailer. He said he last saw the trailer- valued at $1,500- parked on his storage lot at 6 p.m. on May 23. By viewing video surveillance, authorities were able to track a vehicle seen leaving the parking lot to its owner and identified him as the suspect.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Albert Edward Browder has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More. Bond has been set at $7,500 cash or surety.
An initial hearing for Browder is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
