As a result of the execution of a narcotics search warrant at an apartment on South Valley Parkway in Marshall on May 30, two persons have been charged with drug-related felonies.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say they found a small amount of marijuana, 58-1/2 multicolored pills with an alien head design on them consistent with ecstasy- which field tested to contain methamphetamine; 176 grams of methamphetamine; 11 Oxycodone pills; numerous empty clear capsules; digital scales; and numerous other drug-related items.
Online court documents say 28-year-old Michael Tate, of St. Louis, and 28-year-old Allison Ralynn Thomas, of Marshall, each has been charged with a Class B Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Tate’s bond has been set at $50,000 cash only. Thomas’ bond has been fixed at $25,000 cash or surety.
Each defendant was arraigned on May 31. Each is due for a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Saline County Circuit Court.
