Robert L. “Bob” Oehlschlaeger, age 78, of Grain Valley and formerly of Concordia, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia, where visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 7. Burial, with military rites, will follow Saturday’s services in Union Cemetery near Marshall.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice House, Alzheimer’s Association or H8 Cancer Foundation.
In addition to his wife, Margaret, Bob is survived by two children, Julie McDermott (Sean), of Columbia, and Jeff Oehlschlaeger (Jenny), of Blue Springs; two grandchildren, Kelsey Clark and Carter Oehlschlaeger; one brother, Leo Oehlschlaeger (Marilyn), of Concordia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Leonard Oehlschlaeger and Luella Oerding Oehlschlaeger, Bob was preceded in death by one sister, Joanne Corson.
