Slater City Administrator Gene Griffith gave an update on the flooding situation near the city’s water wells during the city council meeting on Tuesday, June 4.
Griffith said as of the previous Wednesday (May 29), “it was going around that we had 48 hours worth of water; we were going to run out of water; and the wells were going down…”

Griffith continued- along with input from Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri.
