An Anderson man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound Toyota Tundra, driven by 51-year-old Tracey Baker, of Bradford, Illinois, reportedly crossed the center line of the roadway while negotiating a curve and struck the rear driver’s side of a westbound dump truck, driven by 22-year-old Blake Barth. After impact, the dump truck overturned, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence; and the Tundra traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.
While Baker reportedly was not injured, Barth was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Missouri Highway 240, three miles east of Marshall.
