A Marshall man sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 57-year-old Gary Henke, reportedly lost control of his southbound Harley Davidson, causing the bike to begin sliding. Another southbound vehicle, driven by 43-year-old Troy Johnston, of Marshall, attempted to slow, but began sliding and struck the rear of Henke’s bike.
While Johnston reportedly was not injured, Henke was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.
The crash happened at 6:25 p.m. on Route YY at Fairground Road.
