A Boonville man was killed in a traffic crash in Cooper County Friday, June 14, 2019.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the northbound vehicle driven by 75-year-old Richard Casanova of Boonville and the southbound vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Leigh Snoody, both crossed the center line while negotiating a curve. Both drivers were reportedly transported to Pinnacle Region Hospital. Casanova, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Snoody, was reportedly treated for minor injuries.
The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. on Old Concord Road, just west of Route B.
