Two Holden residents suffered moderate injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Johnson County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 37-year-old Joseph Hawn, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, began to slide and traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Hawn and a passenger- 38-year-old Lily Collins- were transported by Johnson County ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment. The report says neither of the vehicle’s occupants was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at 2:35 p.m. on Missouri Highway 58, west of Southwest 701st Road.
