A Fayette man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash in Howard County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 23-year-old Joshua Adams reportedly tried to avoid a mail truck that was stopped partially in the roadway, and Adams’ vehicle slid off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Adams reportedly was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just after 12 p.m. on Missouri Highway 240, just west of Route P.
