Four Florida residents have been charged with a drug-related felony after a large cache of packaged marijuana and more than $3,000 in cash reportedly was found in their vehicle following a traffic stop on I-70 in Cooper County on Wednesday, June 19.
A probable-cause statement says, during a probable-cause search of the vehicle, the Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says he found approximately 21 pounds of marijuana in vacuum-sealed bags and more than $3,600 in cash- $3,300 of which was located inside a black plastic resealable bag consistent with the transport of narcotics.
According to online court documents, North Port residents- 21-year-old Anthony Blake Noto, 21-year-old Kevin Allan McLain and 23-year-old Kimberly Rose Gorrell; and 21-year-old Dylan Michael White, of Venice, each has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond for each has been fixed at $20,000 cash or surety.
An initial hearing for each is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
