Charges have been filed against three area men relating to a shooting incident on June 16 in Johnson County.
According to a post on the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page, on Thursday, June 21, the Johnson County Detective’s Division obtained warrants for 26-year-old Tanner Propst, of Warrensburg, 21-year-old Gavin Syring, of Warrensburg, and 27-year-old Nicholas Patterson, of Centerview, in regards to the shooting that occurred in the 600 block of Southeast 550th Road in rural Knob Noster.
Online court documents say each subject has been charged with a Class A Felonies for Assault in the First Degree- Serious Physical Injury or Special Victim- and Robbery in the First Degree; a Class B Felony for Burglary in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Each defendant is being held on $100,000 cash-only bond at the Johnson County Jail.
Investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
