Two Waverly residents sustained minor injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Saline County on Saturday, June 23, 2019.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 21-year-old Mahlina Mueller reportedly became distracted by a spider on her shoulder. Her northbound vehicle began to slide, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned and came to rest on its top in a ditch.
Mueller and a passenger, 17-year-old Heaven Ballenger, reportedly refused treatment at the scene.
The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 65, north of Holiday Avenue.
