Four Marshall residents suffered injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 43-year-old Maria Flores, reportedly was sideswiped by a southbound GMC Sierra, of which the male driver has not been identified. Flores’ vehicle reportedly then left the roadway and struck a culvert and a road sign.
Flores and a passenger in her vehicle, 38-year-old Maria Miranda, reportedly were transported by Pettis County E.M.S. to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia and Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, respectively, for treatment of serious injuries. Other passengers, 62-year-old Noris Alvarez and 29-year-old Ena Ramirez de Alvarez, were transported by Pettis County E.M.S. to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall and Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, respectively, for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened at 7:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 65 at Wildwood.
