A traffic stop on June 1 in Cooper County led to a drug-related felony charge being filed against a New York man, who allegedly was in possession of hundreds of drug-related plants and other drug-related items.
According to a probable-cause statement, a probable-cause search conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper reportedly revealed 792 marijuana plants, two pounds of liquid THC, 30 grams of processed marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
Online court documents say Kevin Scott Hatt, of New York City who is now 53, has been charged with a Class C Felony for Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
An initial hearing for Hatt is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
