During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, June 25, Emergency Management Agency Director Tony Day gave an update on a meeting he has scheduled with SEMA and FEMA representatives regarding flood damage.
Day also reminded residents who have been affected by the flooding there are Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) meetings going on in the area on Tuesday, June 25, at the Silverstein Events Center in Independence; and on Wednesday, June 26, at Brunswick High School at 1008 County Road. Each meeting is scheduled to be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
MARC is a central location for local and state agencies and human services to answer your questions and provide information and disaster-relief assistance.
Services available may include: insurance information; legal services; food stamp replacement services; emergency financial assistance; and much more.
These are open to any resident affected by the flooding. Attendees are asked to bring their identification and proof or address. Child care will be available at each location.
