After only being open for six days, crews from MoDOT have closed both lanes of Highway 24 on the morning of Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
According to a news release, the Missouri Department of Transportation has closed both lanes of Highway 24 between Highway 11 at Brunswick, and Highway 41, at DeWitt after floodwaters once again rose over the roadway.
Several additional roadways continue to remain closed due to flooding, including; Highway 41 to Miami, Highway 10 west of Carrollton and Highway 65 from Carrollton to Waverly, as well as several rural routes.
