The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control arrested 46-year-old Jeremy Q. Prescott, of Lincoln, on Thursday, June 27.
According to a news release, investigators executed a search warrant at Prescott’s residence on Fairoaks Drive, and reportedly seized child pornography and computer equipment.
The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit. The Patrol was assisted by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
Prescott was transported to the Benton County Jail.
According to online court documents, Prescott has been charged with a Class B Felony for Promoting Child Pornography in the First Degree; and four counts of a Class B Felony for Possession of Child Pornography- Second or Subsequent Offense. The release says bond has been set at $50,000.
Prescott’s initial hearing is pending at Benton County Circuit Court.
