During her report at the special meeting of the Marshall School Board on Friday, June 28, Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher presented a configuration plan beginning with the 2020-21 school year.
According to unofficial minutes, Dr. Maher said she met with building principals to determine the new alignment.
Spainhower School will be for Early Childhood, Kindergarten and first-grade students. Benton, Eastwood and Southeast Elementary Schools will be for second- through fourth-grade students. Northwest Elementary School will be for Therapeutic Learning Classrooms, MHS Alternative Education and Gifted and Talented Education.
Fifth- through eighth-graders will attend Bueker Middle School; and ninth- through 12th-graders will attend Marshall High School.
Marshall, Malta Bend, Slater and Sweet Springs High School students may attend the Saline County Career Center.
