A Boonville man who allegedly threw a bag which contained controlled substances out of the passenger’s window of a vehicle during a traffic stop on June 27 has been charged with felonies in Cooper County.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say the duffel bag contained a white crystal substance that tested to be methamphetamine; and 10 pill bottles, which contained 576 morphine and 450 Tizanidine pills.
Online court documents say 43-year-old James Wayne Terrell Jr. has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; and a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $30,000 cash or surety.
Terrell’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
