Two area residents were injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Johnson County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 42-year-old Jeremy Sisk, of Holden, reportedly failed to stop his eastbound vehicle at a posted stop sign and pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle, driven by 60-year-old Johnnie McCormick, of Warrensburg. McCormick’s vehicle reportedly struck Sisk’s vehicle in the driver’s side.
Sisk, who suffered serious injuries, and McCormick, who sustained moderate injuries, reportedly were transported by Johnson County ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment.
The crash happened at 5 a.m. on Missouri Business 13 at Route BB.
