Virginia Lee Chasteen Fox Ahrens, 96, of Marshall, died Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Marshall, with Rev. Sandy Nenadal officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Survivors include four children, Lydia A. Fox Gober (Albert) of McKinney, TX, John L. Fox, Jr. (Alice) of Rockford, IL, Thomas U. Fox (Nancy) of Elgin, IL and Mark A. Fox (Teresa) of Evans, GA; stepdaughter, Richie Ahrens Carson of Chillicothe, MO; foster daughter, Joan Lee of Stockton, CA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, J. Leslie Fox, Sr; three sisters; and one brother.
