A Marengo, Illinois, resident sustained minor injuries in a vehicle-motorcycle crash in Cooper County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 70-year-old Jose Palacios, of Marengo, reportedly failed to yield his westbound Harley Davidson to a southbound Dodge Ram, driven by 60-year-old Cathy Kempf, of Boonville, at a controlled intersection; and the motorcycle struck the truck.
While each driver reportedly escaped injury, a passenger on the bike- 65-year-old Eve Palacios- was transported by Cooper County E.M.S. to Pinnacle Regional Hospital in Boonville for treatment.
The crash happened at 2:35 p.m. on Highway 87 at I-70.
