During her report at the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, July 1, Mayor Julie Schwetz asked the council to approve six appointments to the TIF Commission.

Schwetz said these are the six appointments allowed the city. The county and school district each is allowed to appoint two members; and the other taxing districts to appoint one member to the 11-person commission.
The council approved the appointments to the TIF Commission, which the council agreed to be formed during an earlier meeting.
